Welcome to "Man From The Woods," a game inspired by "Dusk" and "Quake," combining elements of a boomer shooter with horror. In this game, you assume the role of the titular character, a man who grew up alone in the depths of the forest, hiding from the world.
Born amidst chaos, the man from the woods witnessed the invasion of a demon from another dimension. This malevolent entity transformed half of the world's living organisms into humanoid/robotic workers, while the other half were obliterated, reduced to pure energy.
Our protagonist, born in the heart of an energy factory, narrowly escaped the fate of his peers. However, he bore witness to the tragic demise of everyone he had ever known. Fleeing to the safety of the long-forgotten woods, he spent two decades in hiding and honing his skills.
One fateful day, while foraging for sustenance, the man from the woods fell into the clutches of mutants loyal to Lucas, the demon. They imprisoned him in an abandoned underground bunker, intending to execute him with a brutal chainsaw-like device. Through a stroke of luck, he managed to escape, realizing that the time for vengeance had come.
After years of clandestine preparation and training, he embarked on a relentless crusade against the mutants and humanoids, inching ever closer to his ultimate goal: the demise of Lucas and the restoration of peace to the ravaged world.
